Aurora Monsters of the Movies Frankenstein Polar Lights Recast

The last of the Aurora monster kits first issued in 1975. These were in a smaller scale about 1/12th scale as opposed to the 1/8th scale of the original kits. The kits didn't sell well and it all ended in 1977 when the company was sold to Mattel.
These kits had moving parts. This one has moving arms and the head swivels.
Polar lights released this kit around 2000. I believe Moebius Models is currently making this kit along with several others from the Monsters of the Movies line.
To wrap up this Halloween will be the Monster Scenes kits which drew howls of protests from parents.
