I found this amazing antique table lamp in a barn last week and I need your help to find information about it. I never saw a lamp like that and I spent hours looking for a similar piece.
The lamp is made of white glass with painted leaf patterns to the base.
The socket of the lamp let met think that the lamp could be circa 1900. Dimensions: 12" height.
You can read on the electric plug "made in Czechoslov" so it could be bohemian glass.
The lamp seems to be art nouveau in the sense that the design stands out of the late XIXth academic decorative art.
What do you think?
This is a great lamp!
I think it's great too - there are a number of lamp experts on here- I am not one of them but wonder whether it had a cloche-like shade in the orange to fit atop? Ian
