A blue swirl graniteware wash basin. Hard to say how old it is as these were made from the late 1800s through the early 1900s. They went extinct in the 50s but the swirl patterns were generally done before that.
It is 11" wide and 3" deep. Generally these would be used when indoor plumbing was less common or more primitive.
I found a dish in this pattern in the chicken coop of the house we just bought, I have cleaned it up and am now using it...:-)
Great find inky. May not be worth a fortune but prices are going up on these. Plus they look great.
Would you like it to add to these...:-)
Why yes inky I would.
Thank you

Love your display! It's a two-in-one...I mean 20-in -one in your case ;)
Thank you shareurpassion. It seems my collections tend to be a 20 in 1.
Thank you CindB and Jewels
Lovely, makes med think of the "Little house on the prairie" which I loved as a little girl.
Thank you very much Elisabethan. It would have fit on the set.
