The Allied Grand Doll Company of Brooklyn, NY, is the way the company name appears in early advertising, sometime in the 1960s the company name changed to; Allied Doll & Toy Company. Other names collectors use are; Allied Imported or Allied Eastern, due to the AE marking often found on their dolls or perhaps because they were located on the East coast.

Allied Doll & Toy is mainly known today for making large sized vinyl and hard plastic high heel fashion dolls. Dolls were mass produced and sold in bulk to other smaller companies, which marketed the dolls under different names. They also made composition Baby dolls in white or black. Allied's dolls were very affordable and very popular, especially the bride dolls.

They also made some sports figures and the name of teams I suspect were special orders I have seen your guy as another team same doll .

The link shows him in red pants so would have been a different team but same face :-)

I've seen the Toronto doll and a Montreal doll just like yours. Apparently the hardest thing to find is the hockey stick that went along with the dolls. Nice find, I'm still looking for one.
