If you'd said 6 months ago your house will be filled with Bohemian pink vases I'd have laughed at you. The closest to colour vases we my large Wedgwood urns. Previously I've only ever bought clear and well cut crystal with a few Kosta Boda and Orrefors vases that have swirls of pink and another in orange and green, green clear glass...
So when a collector friend had a few vases for sale over the last few months I was lucky enough to secure them. Two arrived recently so here are the picks of them in a group with others pink stripes, some from the same collector some from others...
Whether you think its one maker or the other these glorious pink vases are full of so much detail. You won't have spotted the vase in the 2nd pic before and the basket in photo 3 and 4 are new to CW...

Thanks sklo, they do lift me..I work next to them each day. When I sit down on my couches it's very hard not to look at them all day long..sometimes I find it hard to put in to words how they make me feel...a vase..who wudda thought?

Karen, yes this one I just had to have..the grey blue swirls through the vase are stunning..interestingly the glass is quit dainty. I was shocked it didn't break in transit, it is so fine..in fact I thought I might break it just remving from the box, my hands were shaking...
When I pulled it out I was amazed at how fine it was. If you look at the pick it looks really thick....so yes, very happy that my lovely collector friend in the States has such a great eye for gorgeous items he wishes to sell...

Beautiful Anne. After 6 months they start to add up, lol. I've been collecting glass for about a year now, before that the only glass i had were drinking glasses, now I've have shelves full of vases!
