My Guckenheier collection.
Still looking for more to add.
Guckenheimer distillery opened in Freeport, Pennsylvania in 1857.
In 1893, Guckenheimer received the highest score earned by any whiskey presented at the World's Coluinbian Exposition. "Judged by the most rigid and severe standards that could be devised, it was awarded 99 ¼ points out of a possible 100. In their verdict the jury of experts proclaimed "Guckenheimer' Rye" to be the highest type of American distillation.
Guckenheimer has since been degraded to a bottom shelf blended whiskey.
I have an early 1900's 1/2 pint I would like to ask you about. Please email me.
Thank you,
Jim

I found a Guckenheimer bottle on a camp trip, buried in what I assume to be an old fire pit. It is the one on your center shelf, second from the right. It is intact. What can you tell me about it? Thank you. Karenrau73@gmail.com
