Lady-Jenni…
(15 items)
I bought this hoping it was Loetz, but now I'm not so sure.
Could it be Coppelia or something else?
I think I have seen it before......... | ||

This is a lovely piece of glass but I am sorry! I am not sure who by..but I am certain some will come a long and tell you...Welcome to CW...:-)
We all have to start somewhere and here is great place to start, everyone is friendly and helpful and I have learnt heaps here..and am hoping to learn heaps more.
It looks a little like a Kralik ripple optic (certainly in picture 2) - and the feet look Kralik-y. You need someone with Kralik in their blood for this one.
The design is optical anyhow - but doesn't smack of Loetz production.
There are four other ripple optic posts on here, I think.
I think it is a Kralik 'teardrop'..though not sure what the decor of the body is called...hope this may help.....:-)

great piece! I vote Kralik too, looks like the mold is related with one for this http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/107894-kralik-vase-with-prunts
Wow! That's fast and reassuring.
I did wonder about Kralik (after I decided it wasn't really Loetz), but have a complete lack of resources other than the interweb.
The above written some 3 1/2 hours ago before more research.
Thanks to Ian who set me off - Ripple Optic opened my eyes to several other items I now have to re-label.
"Teardrop - Maybe, though I remain to be convinced. Thanks for the suggestion though Inky.
I think Kralik is correct. I have found this, on page 10, 3rd row, far right http://www.stylendesign.co.uk/guidepages/archive/garchivemaster10.html
which appears to have related feet,
and these,
"item 1 "leaf decor" which shows a similar shape
https://sites.google.com/site/loetzandglass/kralik-10-stuck-on-decoration
and "10. Clear flower vase", bottom of page penultimate item which seems to have a similar molding.
Now I would draw your attention to this in my album "End Of Day Glass"
http://i60.tinypic.com/e0n2oh.jpg.
The contents are Glenfiddich the glass requires more research.
Many thanks to you all.
Jennifer.
The feet on the seashell are very different - more of a tripod formed of 3 'u's. The shapes and vertical ribbing are very different - I can see how they appear similar but they are not. It is hard when everything looks so similar!
I agree, they are different, but as MacArt says they look like the molds are related, or at least the design.
I have also seen what you say about the feet looking Kraliky on other items.
I don't count this as absolute proof, but do I think that Kralik is (at this time) probably correct.
I invite others to confirm or disprove.
They will! http://www.kralik-glass.com, loetz and glass and loetz.com are all good sites to have a look around for similar things.
I enjoyed myself looking theough http://www.kralik-glass.com.
Many thanks, Ian.
