From our collection - Porcelain manufacturer was Henri Ardant et Cie. located in Limoges, France. This lovely, delicate lady in period attire stands 14" in height and is signed by the modeler, Sylvain Kinsburger. The Ardant tradition was to produce "Porcelain d'art" with particular attention to "sculptures en bisquit." Talented & gifted sculptors & artists were employed by Ardant with their works entered into the Paris Expositions of the time. Sylvain Kinsburger was one such sculptor & artist employed by Ardant during the 1880's. This would date the figurine circa 1880's.
Just beautiful...:-)
Thank you so much for your kind comment, inky!
