Having trouble identifying which baby this is. Appears to say maybe 341 on neck or even 371. Not sure of the numbers. It does say 12 1/2 inches and the initials W. J. The J appears with 2 lines but makes the loop like a J. Also says AM Germany. I can't find out which doll this is. It's entire body is bisque, arms and legs move. Painted fingernails and toenail. Most of the babies I find online have soft bodies or composition.

Your doll is a reproduction of mold 371 by Armand Marsille . The letters you see are from the person who made it in a ceramic doll making class using old mold which is why the head is marked correct but the maker has to also include their name an initials when made , So WJ was person who made this reproduction doll .
      Here is a original

Her eyes are glass but the eye lashes are painted. Do all the reproductions have bisque bodies? I do love her even if she is a reproduction, didn't buy her to resale but to add to my doll collection.

Not all reproductions have a bisque ( Porcelain body ) They also sell and use new composition ball jointed bodies . Another thing is the quality of Bisque on antique doll was much finer and translucent . There are many people fooled by a good repro as some have mastered it quite well . She is cute display doll .
