My last butterfly landed on a jadeite necklace.
Not contemporary for sure, but purple and green complement well in my opinion.
I tried it on a tiny pearls necklace, but pin doesn't hold firmly enough, and together colors were too light!
Last pic is other pins which can be worn same way ;-)

Thanks Jewels! Most pins can be worn like that, just check closure is tight...
Plus, pins and brooches are less sought after than other jewels so... cheaper!

Jadeite necklace's largest bead is 7,5mm or 5/16", graduating to the smallest 4mm or 3/16".
