Very Unusual Shaped "Barrel" VASE

This large Brilliant-Orange, almost red, Barrel-Shaped Vase measures 12 1/2" tall by approximately 5 1/2" wide. It is made with an inner Orange colour with an outer clear layer. There is also remnants of an enamelled decor especially on the shoulder of the vase. The underbase is flat and polished with a lot of wear. The vase has barrel staves-like ribs on the upper and lower sections. Any idea on who could have made this unusual vase? Thanks everyone, R.E.R.(BOB)
