SEMI FLAT ORB/SUN DISK/SUN CATCHER-MURANO? SEGUSO? AGE?

I have been going crazy trying to identify if this is a MURANO semi flattened glass orb-- sun disk/sun catcher and if it is a Seguso.

It is 5.25" in diameter, and is stamped ITALY on the back with what looks like to me to be initials and signature of SEGUSO VERDI-- but it is very difficult to make all of this out with all of the textured colored glass.

I am unable to find a date on it. It has a glass ornamental hanger on it (the first pic should have been tilted to the right) which I have not ever seen in his work. It is swirled multicolored blue, green, orange and red, with horizontal, etched ridges and controlled bubbles. I got this from a friend & have no idea of its history.
I have just become interested in glass art and do not know very much.
