Watching the incredible post that racer posted today make me think...is that tree similar at one that we have in the beach house?
Here we said "a type of Eucalypt" growing in the sand as well.
Full of these type of acorns, I did crafts with them as small dressed ornaments.
I dont have at the moment a pic of the tree, when I can go I will do it.

I love crafts since little girl, my grandmother teaching me more things, she liked do Christmas crafts, lovely memories.
I did them handmade, these arent sew, just cut a piece of fabric and later paste.
Im safe you will can try to do someone to your childs and home for Christmas!!

I will have to post some of our Jacaranda pods. I gather them and send them up north for the handicapped children to decorate. They ruin a lawn mower blade but are great for arts and crafts.
