Just the style of the numbers tells me after 1950's.

Thank you so much! I had sent a photo of it to the lady who does Connie's corner in the MTEMC magazine and she said early 20th century...1950 doesn't seem all that early to me...(smile)

From my experience, that style of numbering on mass produced furniture wasn't used before the 50's. I was wrong once in my life! LOL

You're probably not wrong....she didn't have the photos of the bottom, only the top BUT I did tell her about the metal brackets and the stamped numbers on the bottom........but 1950-60 wouldn't be terrible...that's almost as old as I am LOL

Actually, I hadn't paid any attention to the brackets & I now say '50-55. About that time the formed brackets were common. "Old"! Wash your mouth out with Cutty Sark! That's still new stuff to me! LOL!

as much as i love him, i'm going to disagree [slightly] w/ blunderbuss2 on this one! i think that this style of lettering was used alot right after WWII, up through the 50s/60s.

Now it's getting interesting....LOL.....so mid to late 40s through 50s-60s....what kind of table do you think it is? Side table? Occasional table? Lamp table? Would you consider it two tiered?

Oh ho2, I didn't know you cared! Actually you might be right as there were plenty of stencils around from marking all those boxes during the war & probably cheap ,as well as what people were used to looking at. I stand corrected & may be off by 4-5 yrs. on the low side. Picky, picky! LOL!
      LUV!

If it's considered an antique, I guess I am too. Any bids on me? Don't seem to be getting many here! Well a few low ones. LOL! Hey, I've got "class"! Maybe lower, but still class!
