Hello all! Once again I call on your collective collectors knowledge!
I collect many things, but have been given a collection of vintage watches, I am trying to educate myself, and have made great progress with Bulovas, Zodiac and Piccard pieces. Great collector sites out there, great people. I am having an immense amount of difficulty identifying this guy. This is not to be confused with it's "replica" Russian brand, I have seen more of those sites than I care to remember, mind boggling "replica" is an accepted state....I digress..it is quite heavy, Swiss made, clearly vintage and very well made, the crystals are raised, rounded and very thick, covering seperate minute and hours readings, and though it has wear on the face, no signs of sub-standard metal underneath. I have not taken the back off yet , when I find the right tool I will update post. I was thinking it looks very 50's, when things were leaning towards space..the very shape itself is intruiging. I have spent many hours checking, I now leave this in your more capeable hands and cannot wait to see what is discovered!

Sorry re read the bit about bogus Russian watches disregard
I see this was placed in a different category, yes, I agree. I had suggested deco, but after looking at other watches here, I think the word I was looking for was more "atomic" age. That suits it I think. I still have not gotten the back off, no small lip like most, and I don't want to scratch it....I'll post pics of inside as promised...
