    Vtg Green Footed Bowl?

I don't understand this "bowl"??? To me it looks like it should or maybe was the bottom of a lamp shade? But the "crimping looks too even for being done afterward...Why would a fixture for the footing be as this one is?

If it is original, do you know the pattern name and age?

    Thanks for your help!!!

Agh only bases response on research - Tall Cakes is the expert

Agh!!! You are awesome! Thank you so much! And thank you too Jewels :)

like agh states, this is a Duette rose bowl by Indiana Glass from around 1970s or so. Adding this type of metal foot was somewhat typical of many glass pieces in those days.

"Those days" - now I feel really old :)

& I lay no claim to being an expert. I only recognize some glass motifs and thus able to research various resources, and try to base opinion on facts as I see them. : )

Hmmm...I wonder what they have it listed under? I'll find it. Thank you so much TC and shouldn't have doubted for a sec that agh was right!

Hey Jewels! Nice clean up LOL!!!

Come on now agh...you wouldn't really wanna go back to 'those' days anyway, would you? For me, the memories are good enough!!!

And just as a matter of fact, many of us 'depend' on both of you, tall cakes and agh, for your quick answers! really!!!

'those days' were not really that long ago : ) "R" does have this in milk glass; I think Duette was only made in a rose bowl.

google "indiana glass duette pattern" and look at images

It looks like they made with and without the pedestal foot and as TC said also in milk glass.

I was looking at other depression glass images and this one stopped me because I have the same one - belonged to my grandmother. Love learning more about where it came from!
