I've had this bottle for 25 years, and I'm wondering if anyone can identify its origin. It looks like it's made of wood, but I'm not sure. Any comments would be helpful.

I've seen similar vessels like this in the past and I want to say they were made of leather. There's my two cents. Interesting to say the least.

Looks like a leather cover at least.
