I need help in finding out more about these frames. What is interesting is when the light hits them at the right angle they seem to illuminate or reflect the light in such a way that makes them look animated. They look like they are old. Also, on the back they say "Made In England".

I may be a little confused by your description - do the frames "illuminate" or do the pictures within the frames "illuminate"?? - The blue reflection of the dress in picture 3 and the birds in picture 4 remind me of some of the artworks made in England using the reflective wings of the Morpheus butterfly.

aghcollect, it is the pictures within the frames that illuminate. Interesting, what you said about the butterfly.

There was a company in England called Thomas Mott & Company that made a lot of different items (pictures, jewelry, etc.) using butterfly wings. I have given a link below to an item posted here on CW; there are more but I could only find this one - http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/25753-english-butterfly-wing-jewellery
--google this and look at images "butterfly wing made in england thomas mott company"
