Jewels, about the post of antiquehunter with dried flowers brooch, you can say all that you want, he or she never believe what we say...
Hi kyra! Ha! Was wondering about this very thing...several times he or she had some bracelets that appeared to be Bakelite and so we discussed how to test, and AH said they had simichrome, but never tests! Just says (even still) "thinks is Bakelite, but not sure." Well, test it... :)
Haha! That's it! Why ask for help when you can solve it yourself ...

Ha! Exactly, Heading: antique brooch "hello I'm posting in hopes of finding out about this brooch, as I have never seen one like it." You look and it is a brooch from 1990's!
