You have a Gilbert Porcelain Model No. 427 in Cobalt Blue from circa 1900 (approximate date of manufacture). They originally listed from around $9.00. Most recently appraised by TDL at $450 for an example in mint condition. That was back in 2000. Prices have dropped significantly since then. Beautiful clock none-the-less. Thanks for sharing your heirloom with us.

PS, it could have been manufactured and sold in 1904, or that may have been a service date. Was the date printed or written or what? Hope that solves your mystery. If so, please indicate "Solved" in your listing. If not, what else would you like to know?

Very beautiful. Have you wound it? I'm curious what it sounds like. I bet it's adorable.

You're welcome. Based on what you've told us I think it's safe to assume the clock was manufactured in 1904. Do you have any other questions?
