This machine was given to me and I don't know much about it. It has a shuttle bobbin and works well if you can get the proper rhythm to keep the pedal going. There is a number engraved on a plate just below the bobbin winder (504320). When you lift the lid of the cabinet the machine comes up and locks into place. Any information about when & where it was made would be greatly appreciated.
This machine is a Charles Raymond High Arm - White Sewing Machine co bought out Raymond in 1916 and continued to manufacture Raymond models until 1922 when the factory closed http://needlebar.org/nbwiki/index.php/Raymond
