Big Santa day at the Rose Bowl. Found this just before I left. Back in the early 70s my family owned a grocery store. The Santa is still in the family but in a step step branch of the family so I doubt if I will see that one again. But now I have this one.
This is about 40" tall. Originally there there was a cardboard base but I can't have everything although I try.
These were made by Harold Gayle who made store display Santas.
Oh he is so pretty and full of joy, love it!!
Thank you very much Virigna.vintage

I am putting the 2 Harold Gayle Santas side by side in show and tell.
Interesting Santa with the 7 UP belt.
This is off topic, but I'm wondering what type of fur that is in the background?
It's not bobcat, lynx, jaguar or leopard. It appears to me to be the medium sized wild cat from Africa called a Serval. I'm just curious. Do you know?
