I traveled home to Kentucky to visit my family and stumbled across this great piece in my grandparents basement. My granddad owned the first Shell station in Mayfield, Ky. He is long since gone, however, his love of all things car is not. I saw this and thought it was so unique and in excellent condition. There is no rust and I don't think it has ever been used. The finish has no scratch marks or dents. I thought it was for picnics so was shocked when I found out it was to hang on the back seat of a car and use as a snack carry bag. It has two insulated thermos' that are sealed with corks. Three additional cups come with it to use for food or beverage. The compartment in the middle is to hold snacks or sandwiches. The back hooks are how it was used to hang on the back of the seat. This is true to the 1950's and it was instant love for me!
