These are my dad's U.S. Army pictures - first three are when he entered basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey in 1954 - (18 yrs old). - The shoulder insignia patch is for the 69th Infantry Division (which was a training division from 1954-1956 at Fort Dix) - 4th picture is circa 1957 in Germany
