    yesterdays…
    (20 items)

Ian here are the pieces I had mentioned.

I had always thought they were by the same company, but wasn't 110% sure. After seeing yours I think it is even more likely though.

The smaller one is just like yours but in a different shape. The other looks to be same shape as yours, but with a fire polished rim and spatter decor. Neither piece has a pontil mark on the bottom.

The reason I say I'm not so sure it's Welz or Kralik, is because I've never seen the mark on a known welz or kralik piece.

The biggest difference when comparing Ian's vase and these two to the link above, is that they all have fire polished rims and applied handles with no pontil mark.

The example linked above has a pontil mark, indicating a completely different production technique than the other three.

I have never seen any of these examples with impressed marks successfully attributed to, or excluded from any production house. They are certainly interesting, and a mystery also.....

The green vase is gorgeous in itself but as green tango with added splatter it must be a rare bird indeed!

Thanks, Kyle. So Welz-y, Kralik-y, unknown pile!
