Can anyone tell me what this glass egg is? It came from an estate sale, and I have no idea what it is. It looks like sea glass, but I'm not sure. It is pale blue, about 2 1/4" long, 5" diameter at the widest, is opaque with a yellowish/orange tint on the inside when a light is shown through it, and it is slightly pitted. Any suggestions?
Hi pacer, It does look like something that had been in the sea (I collect sea glass), but maybe it was sold this way, I have seen little eggs made of so many things, glass, marble...I have found sea marbles on the beach and all sorts of things so you never know...hmmm...
