This is a listing for a beautiful Carter Era Signed Blue Steuben Aurene Rustic "Stump" Case Shape #2744, c. 1914-1918
This vase has three thorny tree stumps in various nights in rich blues, violets, purples, ets. All in in iridescent hues. Guaranteed authentic this is one of the best Steuben Vases I have seen by far.
The case is in excellent condition only has one factory defect from what I assume was the mold that was used to make it.
The vase meausres 6" high and the base is 3 3/4"
The piece on the bottom is mark Steuben Aurene Followed by the number 2744
This vase is also pictured on page 135 of the book "Frederick Carder & Steuben Glass" By Thomas P. Dimetroff
Items produced during the Frederick Carder Era at Steuben glass works are all highly desired and are included in all major American Art Glass Collections. You will not be disappointed in the remarkable piece of highly desired Steuben
The last picture indicates the defect that was previously mentioned, either was from the coating of the vase or the mold in which it was made, or possibly a combination of both.
