This is a large stoneware vase with a matte green finish and crazed pottery. The bottom is not marked. Measures 12" tall with the base diameter of 4 5/8" and top diameter of 3 7/8". Thick heavy stoneware with about 5/16" wall. Hand painted with thick raised enamel. Not incised. Looks like the pattern was applied in black ink and then hand painted in.

Whatever it is, I dig it.

Not Newcomb. More likey one of the studio potters, within the last 20 years, that produced "in the style of" the most desirable pottery companies of the Arts and Crafts era. Could also be an Asian import. A pic of the unmarked base might help.

Added photo of the base. If this is import, show me another because they don't make one of a kind imports.

What fantastic art nouveau colours in a great typical art nouveau design..only thing that puts me off is the whiter than white base..typical of a recent item, possibly 1990s...but a lovely item from someone who had a great appreciation of Art Nouveau period ... :)
