Came across this at little yard sale. 18"x18"x20"high. I've seen the popular rise in faux bamboo, and this one luckily didn't get painted pastel yellow. No identification. Looks to be a burl wood of some type. Any input woulod be appreciated. Sorry about the rotation, they are upright on dropbox.
To my best knowledge, it's made in China during republic years(early to mid 20C). Outstanding quality and craftsmanship. The curve on legs and insert structures make it a quality piece. To the wood, google "Pterocarpus macarocarpus Kurz".
BTW, what's the Dropbox?
Shrine thank you for your input. Can anyone shed some more light upon this mystery.
