Venetian glass I think.

I was given these figurines by a very dear friend, they belonged to her parents. They have been in the family home for at least 30 years and I have seen a picture of the parents purchasing the figurines from a shop in Venice, unfortunately the photo album has been lost. the female is 22 cms tall the male 23 cms tall. they are both holding pinkish roses with green leaves. There is gold foil in the glass of the sleeve cuffs, pockets and ruffles. they have clear glass faces, hands and feet. Can anyone tell me if the are venetian glass?
