Hi I recently bought this piece at a consignment store. I believe the birds are falcons. They appear to be carved marble with glass eyes. It is a very heavy piece. The marble slab base is 12" across 7" wide. The birds stand about 8" tall. The side "stone" where the right bird perches has Italy carved in it. I have no other clue about them. Is there anyone that can tell me a bit more about this piece. Thank you in advance:-)
