I came across this old bangle which looks Victorian? Very intricate definitely hand made. Featuring pearls of some kind and what appear to be "diamonds" but I doubt they are. Looks very Beautiful on.

      Definitely hand made!
Diamonds seem diamonds but rather modern cut (can't see well!)
Google for difference between old and modern diamond cuts.
Setting of the pearls isn't very delicate, but seem efficient.
I'm rather puzzled by the pearls themselves... Shape, luster are bizarre!
Are they gritty when gently rubbed against a front tooth edge?
Must be very beautiful on wrist!

Thanks kyratango :) tried the tooth test and they did feel gritty

Thanks for your thanks :-) So must be fresh water pearls!
Forgot to say the 8 shape safety to the clasp is not of Victorian era... It was then a thin chain fixed to rings soldered to the bangle...

Don't think it is copper, hinges and solders are too well done!
Color is oxydised patina (gold near silver comes like that when not worn after years in a box!).
I think diamonds due to open back mount, but only a guess!

Idcloisonne, Lol for the typo! For sure, it is not Merovingian ;-))
For the metal, Maria, show it to a jeweller, and have it tested!
Then we all will know for sure :-)
Please, let us know, it is very interesting!
