This is a very recent purchase from a delightful antique shop in the small market town of Ulverston. In this case I had no idea of the maker but simply loved the iridescence. Only later did it transpire that it is Rindskopf. I thought it was blue glass at first but actually the glass itself is amethyst. That's equally good as I only had iridescent items on green glass before and wanted to branch out!
The intense 'blueness' of the lower part is astonishing, though gold green and pink are also easily seen.
Height 19 cm./7.5 inches. Max. Diameter 9 cm./3.75 inches.
Thank you, VioletOrange, SEAN and sammiibubbles.
Thank you, idcloisonne, I take my hat off to you. Searching CW for Rindskopf I found this......
