Self Storage? Really?

What a way to store a beautiful P-51 Mustang at a Self Storage facility. It seems a shame to store this beautiful plane inside a hanger at the airport next door where no one can see it, so we decided to just add it to our collection of cool Gas and Oil signs at aaaLakeside Storage in Provo Ut and now everyone that goes down Center st can see it and reminisce the days of old. This particular plane is the carbon fiber edition of the P-51 and weighs about 1/4 what the original aluminum planes weighed with the awesome Merlin engines. As you can see ours even has the pilot in it and he has an original leather flight helmet on that I had left over from my antique car days when I drove my Model T speedster on Antique car tours. There is nothing quite like hearing a real P-51 with the big V-12 Merlin streaking by in a high speed dive! We hope this version out in the free public view will generate some good discussion of the "olden days" when life was quite a bit different than it is now.
