I got this chair in Rangeley, Maine. It's either mahogany or cherry wood/finish. The back of the chair is 32.5" tall. From the floor to the seat is 16" tall. As you can see in the first picture, the seat is 21.5" wide and 16.5" deep and is "oval" in shape. The seat was reupholstered before I bought it. The are no discernible manufacturer marks (unless they are hidden under the fabric tacked underneath the seat). Does anyone any information on who the maker was and the age of this chair ?

PhilDavidAlexanderMorris. thank you for your comment. the chair is small also. I picked it up at a antique place in Rangeley Maine . I was hoping it was a antique. the man said it might be a vanity chair but vanity chairs do not have arms.
