This is a wonderful example of a Harrach vase. Although not a true pair... With slightly differing enameling. Same shape and height. This was a gift and I am blessed and happy to acquire these beauties. This pair has been in a collectors display cabinet for 40 years. Both have polished pontils and emamelling is near mint condition. Thanks for looking.
Beautiful vases , love the colour:-)
great pair!
the way they would do the design on these vases is, they would print a stencil on a vase which would be the base of the design and then artist would enamel the final design free hand so every vase would be similar but different, the way You can see in Your's. different artists would do the same stencil on a same vase in his/her own style too, so if You are lucky You could find the same vase decorated with same stencil in radically different style.
look at this pair http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/6998828 same stencil but clearly different artists
So beautiful!
