Cyclops Crippled children's row-car 1971

I have just purchased this at a swap meet and have found it to be a Cyclops Pty. Ltd Australia row-car made in 1971 - 1972 and donated to the NSW Society for crippled children's in NSW (Australia).
386 of these were made I can not identify the number on this unit. I have only ever seen 2 of these and I saw both in 10 minutes of each other but this one was the better and was very cheap $20 Aus. It is plastic with a steel frame and by pulling and pushing the handle it moves forward.
By pressing down on the left or right handle it turns.
My aim is to restore over the next couple of months.

Please accept that I do not intend to offend by placing in pedal cars I just think that is it fits

I have almost completed a basic restoration on this you will note a few deep scratches too deep to remove so these are now known a character lines. The head covers are so brittle I did little to them I am searching for a couple of NOS. The tyres are slightly smaller in the wall height again this is a simple change when I find them.

I first tried to restore the plastic with thinners and boiled linseed oil not too bad I then tried a couple of commercial options nothing worked as well as good ol fashioned patience and perseverance, wet rub ,300, 600, 900, 1200, 1500 grit then cut and polish then hand wax.

I hope it was worth the effort a nice but by no means perfect example.
