Decorative Italian Peasant Couple Picture Plate

I love this decorative plate, Made in Italy, 10 5/8" in diameter. Marked Decorative, depicting a peasant couple in the kitchen preparing a meal. The plate is made of clay and has a matte finish over the art. The plate is signed (under the finish) and I can not make out who the artist was. I cannot find another plate of this style anywhere. I don't know the age of it, the maker or how it was made. If anyone can shed any light on it, I would greatly appreciate it!
