    This knife was gave to my grandmother in the mid 1950' but before it was owned by her grandfather witch would be my great grandfather. I don't know if there is any way to put a date on this knife but my grandmother would love to know. Thanks and I'll try to show y'all more of her collection.

      Looks like a Barlow 'Granddaddy' - can you see the mark on the tang?

      The only thing I see different is yours has a rivet after Remington.

      Here's a link to help you get a circa date from the tang stamp. Yours looks to be worn somewhat so you may need a magnifying glass or jeweler's loupe. - Appraisals and values cannot be discussed on this site.
