An old example of Micro Mosaic flower bouquet plaque in mint condition. Feels very smooth and made of tiny glass tiles (tesserae) not one single missing. Only one little chip of the edge on the back in the black glass. Very nice to set in gold to wear it as brooch. In the same time I show you all my flower Micro Mosaic jewelry and plaques. The measurement of this plaque : 4.3 x 3.5 cm.
Who knows where I can get a beautiful old brooch frame for this plaque? And also a brooch or pendant frame for the smaller plaque (lower plaque) measurement of this one: 2.8 x 2.3 cm ??
Beautiful! For finding an old frame, I can say from personnal experience that oval things are nearly impossible to match...
I carried for years a paper with my lonely things to mount stamped on it!
Hunted all flea markets I haunted and guess what? Never found any :-(
Internet can help now but mesurements are so particulars...

Really lovely grouping of floral micros! You have a wonderful collection. I have struggled in the past to find frames for pieces also -- just "never" quite right, especially a period frame. I have usually had a period reproduction made if I "really" wanted a frame.
