This is a wonderful find at the collectors house the other day. This stands 12" and is beautifully made. A fellow collector thought this might be of French origin. This has a finely polished pontil and the gilding is lovely. The etching looks to have a european feel to it. Any and all help information would be wonderful. Thanks for looking

pretty jug : ) the etch is a needle etch that was fairly common in Elegant Glass of the depression and post depression eras. The loop part of this etch was used by several companies. Heisey had a similar needle etch called Tatting used on their glassware.

the shape does look like Heisey's Whaley jug/pitcher, but not sure that it was made with panel optics or in this color.
