Cari Zalloni was a very prolific designer and I think his work had a very distinctive look.
This vase was deigned by him in the 70s I think when he did a number of designs for WMF.
The hooped theme continued into his ceramics designs.
I like most hooped vases but this one is pretty special I think. The optics are just fantastic!
