I bought this chair a year ago and forgot that I had it in my garage. I pulled it out the other day and really began to appreciate its uniqueness. Can anyone help me out with some information on this chair? Thank you!

I forgot to mention that the medallion in the back is actually cast iron.

I've been researching, like crazy, to see if I can find anything out about this chair and have found nothing. I am planning on painting it, so hopefully I find out about it before I find out I painted a very expensive chair.

Well I went ahead and painted this chair teal. We left the medallion, in the center, black and revealed the original material covered by the plastic sheeting. I sold this chair for $100. I hope I did not short myself.

If you sold it for more than you had in it, you did OK.
