For Paris1925 (and other collectors!).
Another from my Grand-Mother, mounted as a lamp, but not drilled of course, only glued on a brass base for stability.
Signature etched as shown, nearly 52 cm high in itself.
It is my bedroom highlight ;-)
Non, non, Paris, le socle n'est pas du tout d'époque, c'était bien un vase!
Ma mère l'a fait monter avec sa "tomate" en 1980.
Thank you a lot for the signature info :-)
Exact shape there, last pic:

Many thanks to:
Jewels, walksoftly, Sklo42, Belltown, Paris (XO!) and Trey for loving my treasure :-)
Je n'aurais jamais osé convertir une telle pièce. Super ideé.
TinaL, thank you dear compat' expat' ;-)
Nothing which could not be reversible! Never mutilate a work of art...
Paris, pas du ciment, de la colle bête!
Did your grandmother have this done? If so, I see this wonderful creative genius runs in the family! : )
When my mother decided to redecorate her flat, she brought a lot of antiques to a lamp/shades maker to be electrified (without drilling or alter them!).
We always loved to use our objects :-)
Forgot to thank you for your adorable compliment :-)
You're welcome! I love it, and the most perfect lampshade as well!
wow this is a "STUNNER"!!
Il faut que mon francais est tres mal. Mais je sais tres bien. J'aime beaucoup.

Thanks Lundy :-)
Phil, many thanks for your love :-)
I know I have been true to myself and really love something when I pass by it again many days later and go to press "love" only to discover that I already have... so I "Love" this beautiful lamp truthfully...
Oooh, thank you soo much CindB and trunkman for your warmest comment (and iterative love, lol!)
kyratango -- okay ms. "smartypants" -- I have an English Literature degree from a prestigious university and I had to look up the word "iterative" -- and you say English is your second language -- Ohh la la, LOL....
Lol! Wasn't sure this word exists in English but felt it better than "repeated"...
This is very nice! I do not think that I have actually ever seen one but have heard the name.
Wow !!!
Thanks Hedge ;-)
