    This wonderful big fishplate/tray is marked "Krukmakaren Höganäs". The potter Ovar Nilsson started the studio in Höganäs Sweden with Åke Carlsson. Nilssons sons took over the studio in 1980. The studio was in operation 1943-2003. This mark tells med this plate was made somtime between 1940-1970. I love this plate and use it as a fruittray. I love the color who has a rainbow-shine/glow to the surface (don´t know if you can see it in the photos) that makes it look like fisk scale.
