Hi, thanks for sharing your family heirloom. What information are you seeking to solve your "mystery"?
I was wondering if anyone knows what model this clock is and if it would be worth it to get it running?
This is a model called the Ansonia "Baltic". It is from circa 1886 and could have been manufactured several years before or after that date. The case is made from Black Walnut. Prices are down on clocks such as these lately. A lot of two nice examples, an Ansonia "Baltic" and a New Haven "Neva" sold at auction for $120 Hammer Price, (or about $145 with Buyer's Premium). Here is a link to a photo: http://p2.la-img.com/289/54150/26271326_1_x.jpg. Would it be "worth it" to get it running? It's a family heirloom, so the question you have to ask is what is the clock worth to you. Hope that helps solve your Mystery.
