My wife's birthday present. It is really beautiful with two rose cut diamonds on each end with a sapphire in the middle. It is set in a silver mount with an 18kt gold band. The ring dates to the Georgian period CA 1810. It is interesting, the diamonds had backs on the bottom while the sapphire was open. Also, the diamonds are set in silver while there is gold holding the sapphire in place. Just an very interesting piece of antique jewelry.
Thanks aghcollect...
thanks for the love manikin
This kind of pierced gallery is victorian rather than georgian, but the rosecut diamonds could be older.
Nice gift !!!
Thank you for the loves Kyrantango and Shareurpassion.... Kyratango, this kind of rose cut and foil on the back of the diamonds were pretty much a clear indicator of Georgian, could be late Georgian early Victorian, still early ring and thank you for your comment.
