    I found this trunk and a couple others cleaning out the attic of the house I grew up in. Thought it was pretty cool. I could not imagine anything being made like this today. It looks like it was intended to last forever. Don't know too much about them, but didn't want to have them tossed in dumpster so I brought them to my house. My grandmother used to shop at some old dockside shops in New York City. So maybe these came from those shops.

      Totally awesome trunk -- I think this company made speciality trunks -- this one may have been for a musical instrument.
