    This was a fun refinish job - fun and tough. The brown canvas that was originally on the trunk was stuck on with a LOAD of glue. The trunk is slightly curved top and is heavy as a horse - about 45 pounds - I love the back hinges. Will be used for a toy chest for a family in VA - they picked the fabric and although not from the 1890's - I like the look. My 86 year old mom does the lining - quilts all sides and does an amazing job.

      You do awesome work Sherwood! Mom too.God bless 1890's horse Glue, it really builds character.(There should be T -shirts made up that say, "We live for 1890 Glue." or something like that.
      They could sell on E-bay- million dollar idea!,Trunkman start silkscreening pal?Make BB2 help!)
      Just playing.Wonderful to know it will be reused and cherished by a Family.Thats my favorite part. You can take great pride in that.That's how we let them go.
