This is the oddest and most curious item in my collection. In case you thought the word "Apparapus" was a typo in the title, just checkout the nameplate in photo #2! Well, it probably IS a typo but it was made on the original.
I traded this for some computer parts from a fellow who doesn't recall where he picked it up from in his travels. I managed to track down more information about it based on the Patent number and general online searches.
It appears to be only part of a c.1925 machine used for electroshock medical treatments. Here's the patent info:

If anyone can read/translate Japanese I would sure like to know what all the labels under the switches and knobs say!
